Employee Medical
Contributions
Health care costs have been rising nationwide due to increasing U.S. medical costs, prescription drug prices and provider costs, often outpacing general inflation. Because of this, Nestlé has prioritized keeping employee contributions as affordable as possible. Our goal is to minimize impact on employee paycheck contributions by
identifying ways to reduce overall plan costs to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective benefits programs.
One of those ways is by Nestlé taking on a significant portion of the costs associated with our benefits programs. This proactive approach helps keep employee contributions as low as possible, ensuring that our employees can access the benefits they need without undue financial burden. Through continual benefit plan reviews, program
utilization assessments and consistent vendor contract negotiations, our employee benefit cost increases have been, and continue to be, below industry average.
For Nestlé in 2026, most national NesCARE (CareFirst) plans will see average increases of about $10 per month for employee-only coverage and $20 – $30 per month for family coverage (variation depends on plan selection and coverage tier). There will be some minor plan design changes made in 2026 as well.
We continue to offer competitive, award-winning benefits such as specialized cancer support, mental wellbeing programs, the Healthy Rewards incentive program and the Lifestyle Spending Account.
