We understand that battling cancer takes a village, and Carrum Health can provide you with that village — which includes expert cancer guidance when you or a dependent is facing cancer. Carrum Health can connect you to the top cancer specialists in the country for a second opinion on your cancer diagnosis or treatment plan — at no cost to you.

Guidance Program: Access to support and coordinated care through a Carrum Center of Excellence (COE) at no cost to you

• Dedicated care team
• Diagnostic review
• Treatment plan development
• Collaboration between COE and your local oncology team

Treatment Bundle: High-quality care provided by a Carrum Health COE for certain types of cancer

• Expert consultation
• Cancer treatments (Surgery, CAR-T, Radiation)
• Follow-up support

The following groups are eligible to participate in the Carrum Health program:

• All Regular, U.S. NesCARE benefits-eligible employees and eligible dependents; and
• Must be enrolled in a CareFirst Medical Plan

Please note:

• Those over 65 must be covered by Nestlé’s CareFirst medical plan and have deferred Medicare coverage

What about terminations and COBRA status?

Your benefits end the same day your employment is terminated. New COBRA members must show verification of active COBRA status to use the Carrum benefit.

* Carrum Health is available to active Nestlé employees, dependents and COBRA participants (aged 18+) enrolled in a CareFirst medical plan. With the exception of second opinions, once you have met your deductible, copays and coinsurance are waived for all members when getting surgery through Carrum. In 2024, HealthSAVER and SureSAVER members must meet a $1,600 (employee) or $3,200 (family) deductible before coinsurance is waived under Carrum. You will still need to meet your full deductible before coinsurance begins when using other care outside of Carrum. Second opinions are provided at no cost to members and do not require payment of any deductible.
